ABOUT WENDY BUCK-WEIMER
Wendy Buck-Weimer serves as Chief Operations Officer at MDLifespan, where she brings more than two decades of progressive leadership across clinical operations, urgent care, occupational health, and primary care settings. Known for her strategic vision and operational excellence, Wendy has led multi-unit regional and national healthcare initiatives focused on driving innovation, improving patient outcomes, and strengthening organizational performance.
At MDLifespan, Wendy oversees clinical setup and operational deployment for therapeutic plasma exchange, with responsibilities spanning licensing, supply chain optimization, and clinical process improvement across multiple locations. Her work supports the successful integration and scalability of MDLifespan’s clinical operations as the organization expands its footprint.
Prior to joining MDLifespan, Wendy served as Director of Clinical Operations at Kinwell Health, a Premera Blue Cross initiative. In this role, she oversaw a team of 150 employees supporting 65 clinicians and played a central role in launching 19 clinics, including virtual care. Her leadership encompassed recruiting, vendor management, Epic EMR customization and implementation, clinical workflow development, and service line expansion, helping establish Kinwell’s operational foundation and enhance its care delivery model.
Previously, Wendy was Associate Vice President of Operations at Premise Health, where she managed 26 clinics, pharmacies, and fitness centers across 12 states and Guam. She led strategic planning efforts, implemented EMR systems, and directed COVID-19 response initiatives, including serving as a national media representative for United Airlines.
Earlier in her career, Wendy held leadership roles at Concentra, overseeing 71 clinics across eight states while improving patient satisfaction, implementing EMR systems, and developing innovative occupational health programs. Her foundational experience also includes roles as Clinic Manager at Wilmington Health and Occupational Health Nurse at Elementis Chromium, where she built deep expertise in compliance, training, and patient-centered care.
